Hi, I'm Cellar. I'm a 21 year old young professional in the creative industries. I'm here, as I expect everyone else is, because I'm bored of a centralised internet experience. My work involves social media so it'd be nice to get away from the audience pandering of it all. I miss community. I miss the excitement the internet used to bring me on Saturday mornings watching cartoons, exploring through stumbleupon or just clicking link after link. I miss being able to curate my own experience.
It's been a long time since I used HTML or CSS, so forgive my rustiness. I used to love having a blog when I was younger. I tried to create a pirate streaming websit when I was a teen. Here, I want to talk about my work and my hobbies. I'm writing/directing/producing a zero budget short film, and I thought it'd be nice to keep track of the progress. We are in pre-production right now, with our second production meeting on Feb 17th. I'm also a student at the open university after dropping out of a psychology degree, so I'd love to share what I learn. I was also in inpatient psychiatric care for a while in my teens, so I'd love to have discussions about psychology and healthcare. While I do have a lovely group of people around me IRL, I want to meet and understand people like me online. I'm very social. Any tips for finding friends, internet ettiquette, html/css and generally relearning to navigate on a smaller web are appreciated. I'm sorry for any faux pas, I'm just not used to being back here.
